This report details a recent inspection campaign by the Consumer Protection Authority in Esna, Luxor, resulting in the seizure of 200 unlabeled cosmetic packages for violating Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018.

The judicial enforcement unit of the Consumer Protection Authority in Esna, south of Luxor Governorate, seized 200 packages of cosmetics that were not labeled with production dates, expiration dates, or any identifying information, in violation of the Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018.
A report was filed regarding the incident, and the violation was referred to the relevant investigative authorities to complete legal procedures. This is part of the Consumer Protection Authority’s efforts to tighten market oversight, prevent the circulation of non-compliant products, and ensure the protection of public health and consumer rights.
