Hugel participated in the Global Aesthetics Summit (GAS) held at the Taj Horizon in Goa, India, from the 19th to the 21st, announcing the official entry of its botulinum toxin ‘Letybo’ into the Indian market. Hugel aims to achieve a 9% market share in the Indian aesthetics market this year, accelerating its early market penetration.

Building Brand Awareness and KOL Network with Local Distributor Aakaar Medical

At the GAS conference, Hugel partnered with its local distributor Aakaar Medical to secure brand recognition and establish a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) network. Benjamin Chan, Hugel’s Australian KOL who served as a speaker, highlighted the product’s differentiation by introducing Letybo’s predictable treatment outcomes through ‘Narrow Diffusion’.

Planned Launch Events and Hands-On Workshops with Local Distributor

Hugel plans to sequentially conduct separate launch events and hands-on workshops with its local distributor until the 24th. The company also intends to continuously expand academic exchanges with KOLs to further strengthen Letybo’s position in the global market.

“India is a market with very high preference and interest in ‘K-Aesthetics.’ We will actively leverage Hugel’s strength as the No. 1 toxin in Korea for 10 consecutive years to drive marketing,” said Hugel CEO Jang Doo-hyun. “We will lead the expansion of the Indian market and secure new global growth engines.”
