【Hangzhou, Ch】Huons Group Holds Symposium in China to Celebrate Launch of Botulinum Toxin ‘Hutox’

Huons Group announced on the 20th that Humedix and Huons Biopharma held a symposium on the 16th at the JW Marriott Hotel in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, to celebrate the launch of the botulinum toxin ‘Hutox’. The event was hosted by Huons Biopharma’s Chinese partner, IMeik Technology, and featured an academic program alongside the Hutox launch announcement. Attendees included domestic medical professionals, local Chinese medical staff, and industry stakeholders. Dr. Kim Geon-woo, director of Cheongdam Cellinic Clinic, served as a speaker, presenting on the application cases and clinical direction of botulinum toxin.

Hutox is a pharmaceutical product with botulinum toxin as its main ingredient, indicated for improving glabellar lines and periorbital wrinkles. IMeik secured exclusive import and distribution rights for Hutox in China (including Hong Kong and Macau) from Huons Biopharma in 2022, and received product approval from the China National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) in January of this year. Humedix supported the symposium by inviting domestic medical speakers and assisting with the academic event operations.
