Huons Group is accelerating its strategy to enter the Chinese market with its botulinum toxin product ‘Hutox’.
Huons Group’s HuMeds and Huons BioPharma announced on the 20th that they held the ‘Hutox’ launch symposium on the 16th at the JW Marriott Hotel in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China.
This symposium was hosted by iMaker Technology, Huons BioPharma’s local partner in China. The event featured the official product launch of the botulinum toxin ‘Hutox’ along with an academic exchange program.
Through this symposium, HuMeds and Huons BioPharma expanded their contact points with local medical professionals and industry stakeholders in China, aiming to enhance the global recognition of Hutox.
Hutox is a cosmetic and therapeutic pharmaceutical product containing botulinum toxin as its main ingredient. It is primarily used for improving glabellar lines and crow’s feet.
iMaker Technology secured exclusive import and distribution rights for the botulinum toxin product in the Chinese region (including Macau and Hong Kong) from Huons BioPharma in 2022. Subsequently, in January, it received product approval from the China National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) for Hutox.
Meanwhile, Huons closed at 25,450 won on the same day. This is a decrease of 700 won (2.58%) from the previous day’s closing price, fluctuating between a high of 25,950 won and a low of 24,000 won.
