**Editor’s Note:** The Ismailia Health Directorate has intensified oversight of private healthcare, inspecting 50 facilities across multiple specialties to ensure compliance with medical standards.
The Ismailia Health Directorate conducted an extensive inspection campaign targeting a number of private medical facilities. The campaign covered 50 private medical facilities, including dermatology and cosmetic clinics, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, oncology, urology, and various specialized clinics.
The violations identified included lack of a spatial license, non-compliance with private healthcare regulations and infection control and quality standards in examination rooms, as well as unsafe disposal of hazardous medical waste.
The Private Healthcare Department of the Ismailia Health Directorate had formed a committee headed by Dr. Heba Taha to inspect non-governmental medical facilities, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and operational controls, and take necessary legal actions against violating facilities.
The Ismailia Health Directorate affirmed that inspection campaigns on private medical facilities will continue to ensure the application of quality standards, infection control, and health regulations, contributing to the preservation of citizens’ health and safety.
