Cosmetic companies from Chungcheongbuk-do have achieved an unprecedented export jackpot at the largest stage in North America, considered one of the world’s top three beauty exhibitions alongside Bologna, Italy, and Hong Kong, taking a significant step forward in expanding the global territory of K-Beauty.

The province announced on the 19th that it led 10 excellent local cosmetic manufacturing and distribution companies to participate in the ‘2026 Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas’ held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Nevada, USA, from the 13th to the 15th, achieving a total of 19.4 billion won in export consultations and 15.6 billion won in local export contracts.

This exhibition is the world’s most authoritative B2B cosmetics business platform, featuring over 1,100 major beauty brands from 45 countries and tens of thousands of large-scale distribution buyers. To break into the US market, which leads the global cosmetics industry in terms of market share and consumer trends, the province has conducted thorough pre-market analysis and matched quantitative marketing guidelines since the beginning of the year.

Chungcheongbuk-do implemented a ‘hybrid two-track exhibition marketing’ strategy tailored to the volume of companies and the characteristics of the target market at this exhibition.

First, in the ‘Individual Company Pavilion,’ which focused on one-on-one matching buyer consultations, five bio-medical beauty companies with unrivaled technology were positioned:
– HPNC Co., Ltd. (Basic and functional cosmetics pipeline)
– CLMedicis Co., Ltd. (Next-generation skin regeneration skin booster)
– Gens International Co., Ltd. (High-efficiency medical skin booster)
– NGTIN Co., Ltd. (Advanced anti-aging basic and functional cosmetics)
– Mignon Korea (Professional eyelash perm products)

In the ‘Joint Promotion Pavilion,’ which focused on buyer accessibility and spreading trendy lineups, five companies armed with niche market and daily life items captured buyers’ attention:
– Korean Essential (Anti-aging specialized eye cream)
– Forusgen (Ultra-fine Avali cream solution)
– Dejeuvent (Vegan UV protection sunscreen)
– Pocom (Functional home care foot care cosmetics)
– Oldam (Organic low-irritation cleansing tissues)

According to local reports, during the exhibition, Chungbuk companies showcased a large number of killer content that precisely matched the recent ‘Clean & Smart Beauty’ consumption trends of North American Generation Z, including high-functional skincare lines tailored to FDA guidelines, skin boosters for aesthetic shops, and hybrid sun care products with skincare functions. This generated enthusiastic qualitative responses, with long queues forming at the booths of local large chain store vendors and online platform buyers.

To ensure that the consultation data worth 19.4 billion won from this exhibition does not dissipate as a one-time event, the province is urgently implementing comprehensive post-management guidelines for follow-up contract completion, including support for import/export logistics processes and matching costs for overseas certification acquisition.

The plan is to provide multi-faceted support for global market development of local cosmetic companies by diversifying marketing pipelines, such as opening promising overseas exhibitions scheduled for the second half of the year and holding 1:1 reverse matching export consultation meetings with invited buyers.

“The US beauty market is the core heart that dictates the trend indicators and value consumption of the global cosmetics industry,” said an official from the Chungcheongbuk-do Economic and Trade Bureau. “This brilliant quantitative achievement in Las Vegas is a remarkable feat that perfectly proves that the advanced bio-technology of Chungbuk K-Beauty has passed the discerning eyes of demanding North American buyers.”
