Amazon Executives Visit APR’s Manufacturing Campus

Amazon executives overseeing the company’s Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) logistics and supply chain operations recently visited APR’s second manufacturing campus in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, as the U.S. e-commerce giant seeks to deepen its understanding of South Korea’s rapidly expanding K-beauty ecosystem, the cosmetics company said on Sunday.

APR, the largest listed cosmetics company in South Korea by market capitalization at about 14 trillion won ($10.2 billion), said the visit reflected growing global demand for Korean beauty products and increasing interest in the country’s manufacturing and fulfillment capabilities.

Tour Highlights: Beauty Device Production and Logistics

During the tour, the Amazon delegation visited APR’s beauty device production lines, assembly and inspection facilities, and a two-story logistics center. Executives were briefed on the company’s automated manufacturing processes and warehouse operations, which support both domestic and international distribution.
The visit comes as K-beauty brands continue to gain traction in overseas markets, prompting global retailers and logistics companies to strengthen partnerships with Korean manufacturers and better understand their production and supply chain systems.
