Amorepacific Holdings has made a strategic investment in Higher Corporation, a specialized aesthetic medical device company, and will collaborate in the beauty and medical fields.

Amorepacific Holdings announced on the 27th that it has signed an investment agreement with Higher Corporation to strengthen cooperation in the beauty and medical sectors. The two companies plan to combine Higher Corporation’s aesthetic medical device development capabilities, joint medical research, and global Key Opinion Leader (KOL) network with Amorepacific’s skin science research and skincare technology.

In particular, the two companies will focus on developing integrated beauty solutions that connect professional treatment areas with daily skincare. Lee Sang-mok, CEO of Amorepacific Holdings, stated:

“We will develop next-generation beauty solutions that combine skin science and medical device technology to provide new customer experiences in the global beauty and medical market.”

Kim In-yong, CEO of Higher Corporation, commented:

“This agreement marks the starting point for Higher Corporation to combine its accumulated medical aesthetic expertise with Amorepacific’s research capabilities to jointly create next-generation beauty and medical solutions.”

Based on this partnership, the companies will collaborate across product planning, R&D, distribution, and marketing. Key areas of cooperation include the development and commercialization of skin boosters, cosmeceuticals, and medical devices for skin aesthetics. They will also jointly develop post-procedure aftercare products, distribute through hospitals and clinics, and conduct joint research on raw materials and ingredients, as well as marketing activities.

Meanwhile, CEO Lee is scheduled to attend the ‘Korea-Brazil Business Roundtable’ in São Paulo on the 28th (local time) during President Lee Jae-myung’s visit to Brazil.
