Seoul, South Korea

July 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — HIGHER Corporation’s proprietary dual hyaluronic acid collagen-stimulating formulation HILO WAVE® has gained new scientific validation, with related preclinical research results officially published in the SCIE-indexed international journal International Journal of Molecular Sciences (IJMS).

HILO WAVE® is specifically developed for the regenerative aesthetics field, utilizing regenerative biostimulation technology to improve skin quality and create a naturally plump skin condition.

The product leverages HIGHER Corporation’s proprietary Dual Hyaluronic Acid Complex (DHC®), combining high-molecular-weight and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid to promote skin regeneration while minimizing inflammatory responses.

The published research paper, titled “Regenerative Skin Remodeling by a Dual Hyaluronic Acid Hybrid Complex in Multimodal Preclinical Models,” was conducted by an international collaborative research project led by the Department of Dermatology at Yonsei University Severance Hospital.

Unlike traditional collagen biostimulation methods that rely on localized inflammatory responses, this study explored the biological mechanism of DHC® and its ability to support regenerative skin remodeling through a biomaterial pathway.

Preclinical results showed: stable fibroblast viability, enhanced extracellular matrix (ECM) activity, improved antioxidant capacity, and better expression of skin barrier-related markers. Additionally, no significant inflammatory response was observed in animal models, further confirming the favorable biosafety profile of DHC®.

The findings indicate that DHC® modulates the skin microenvironment to promote collagen synthesis and tissue regeneration while minimizing unnecessary inflammation, providing scientific evidence for the regenerative mechanism of HILO WAVE®.

“This publication represents another important milestone in the scientific foundation of HILO WAVE®. As physicians increasingly prefer evidence-based aesthetic solutions, we will continue to deliver more high-quality scientific and clinical evidence to validate the safety, mechanism of action, and clinical value of our proprietary dual hyaluronic acid technology.” — HIGHER Corporation Spokesperson

Building on this, HIGHER Corporation will host a HILO WAVE® Global Webinar on August 12, 2026, featuring evidence-based treatment protocols, live treatment demonstrations, and an interactive Q&A session led by Dr. Kyung Tae Bae.

The webinar is open to licensed medical practitioners.
