AB Plastic Surgery will host the ‘IFAAS (International Federation for Adipose Therapeutics and Science) Lifting International Academic Symposium’ this August.
This symposium is an IFAAS program that AB Plastic Surgery has continued for three consecutive years since its first hosting in 2024. During this period, the clinic has shared clinical experiences and the latest medical technologies with medical professionals worldwide through high-difficulty surgical technique education covering major areas of plastic surgery.
IFAAS is an international academic symposium where medical professionals from around the world gather to exchange the latest surgical techniques and clinical know-how. It operates with a focus on introducing cutting-edge medical technologies, building global networks, and providing hands-on training based on live surgery, and is recognized as an authoritative international academic program in the field of plastic and aesthetic medicine.
Notably, AB Plastic Surgery is one of the few plastic surgery clinics in South Korea to host IFAAS for three consecutive years, establishing itself as a global education hub where overseas medical professionals visit directly to learn surgical techniques. Previous symposia have attracted medical professionals from countries including Japan, Australia, and Taiwan, who participated in lectures and hands-on training programs.
At the upcoming lifting symposium in August, Dr. Jeong Yeon-woo, Director of AB Plastic Surgery, will serve as a speaker, sharing clinical experience and surgical know-how in the fields of lifting and facial rejuvenation. Dr. Jeong will conduct lectures and live surgery sessions for participating medical professionals, introducing high-difficulty lifting techniques centered on actual clinical cases.
