AP Holdings (Amorepacific Group’s holding company) has signed an investment agreement with HIGHER Corp., a specialized medical aesthetic device company, to strengthen collaboration in the beauty and medical fields. Through this agreement, the two companies will leverage their core competencies to develop next-generation beauty and medical solutions that bridge professional treatments and daily skincare.
The two companies have agreed to collaborate across product planning, R&D, distribution, and marketing by combining HIGHER Corp.’s aesthetic medical device development capabilities, joint research with medical professionals, and global KOL network with Amorepacific’s skin science research and skincare technology.
As part of this agreement, AP Holdings has made a strategic investment in HIGHER Corp., aiming to further strengthen their mid-to-long-term partnership.
Based on the agreement, the two companies will pursue:
– Development and commercialization of skin-related products including skin boosters, cosmeceuticals, and medical devices
– Development of post-procedure aftercare products and collaboration on distribution to hospitals and clinics
– Joint R&D on raw materials and ingredients, and marketing activities
In particular, they plan to combine HIGHER Corp.’s medical professional network and aesthetic market expertise with Amorepacific’s skin research capabilities and brand assets to develop integrated solutions that connect professional treatment areas with daily skincare.
