**Editor’s Note:** CurePulse’s portable ultrasound device DualTetra has passed independent verification, confirming its quadruple ultrasound output across all four frequencies (3, 10, 19, and 25 MHz) meets specified standards.
Beauty tech startup CurePulse (CEO Cho Nam-gyu) has had the quadruple ultrasound output performance of its portable ultrasound stimulator ‘DualTetra’ verified by an accredited testing institution and has released the test report.
On the 28th, CurePulse announced that it participated in the ‘Voluntary Technical Specification Disclosure and Verification Campaign’ organized by EcoDM Lab, completing precision testing on the 3, 10, 19, and 25MHz multi-frequency output of the DualTetra.
This campaign was established to objectively verify product technical specifications through test data and transparently disclose them to consumers, amid growing interest in high-frequency ultrasound technology in the personal beauty device market.
The testing was conducted by Eurofins KCTL, a specialized testing and certification institution in the fields of electrical/electronics, information and communications, and medical devices. The test report number is ‘KR26-YDZ0039’.
Verification applied the international ultrasound measurement standard IEC 62127-1, measuring acoustic output in a water tank and polymer phantom medium simulating actual usage environments. A total of four stages of precision testing were conducted, checking not only internal electrical signals but also the actual radiated ultrasound output.
The tests included internal drive signal analysis using oscilloscopes and differential probes, time-domain-based actual operating frequency measurement, FFT-based 0-30MHz frequency spectrum analysis, and piezoelectric ceramic resonance frequency verification through product disassembly.

Test results showed the DualTetra recorded underwater acoustic spectrum of 3.48MHz and electrical drive waveform of 3.42MHz in 3MHz mode. The 10MHz mode measured 11.64MHz and 11.63MHz respectively, the 19MHz mode measured 19.06MHz and 19.42MHz, and the 25MHz mode measured 26.78MHz and 26.67MHz.
CurePulse explained that all measurement results met the ±20% tolerance range relative to the indicated frequency, confirming the product’s quadruple ultrasound output performance through official testing.
The company stated that through this release of the test report, it plans to enhance the objectivity and reliability of technical specifications and work to create an environment where consumers can more transparently verify product performance.
