[Daily Hankook Reporter Shim Woo-min] Medical aesthetics specialist Hugel announced on the 20th the launch of its new hyaluronic acid (HA) filler product line, ‘TheChaeum Signature’.
TheChaeum Signature consists of four products designed to be selected according to the treatment area and purpose.
It features the application of MPC (Multi Purified Crosslinking) technology, a proprietary method from Hugel’s affiliate Across, which reduces crosslinker usage by over 50% compared to conventional manufacturing processes and increases crosslinking efficiency through a special process using high-concentration HA raw materials.
According to the company, the product undergoes an extended multi-purification process of approximately two weeks—longer than standard manufacturing—to significantly reduce residual crosslinkers as well as fine hydrolyzed byproducts (BDPE) that can arise during the crosslinking stage, thereby enhancing safety and quality.
