**Editor’s Note:** Hugel has launched TheChaeum Signature, a new HA filler line featuring four variants for tailored treatments. The product uses Across’s MPC technology, which reduces crosslinker usage by over 50% to improve safety.
Hugel announced on the 20th the launch of its new hyaluronic acid (HA) filler product, ‘TheChaeum Signature’. According to the company, TheChaeum Signature is a line of HA fillers consisting of four variants with different physical properties, allowing medical professionals to choose according to the treatment area and purpose.
The new product incorporates the proprietary ‘MPC (Multi Purified Crosslinking) technology’ from its affiliate, Across. The company explained that this technology reduces the use of crosslinker (BDDE) by more than 50% compared to conventional manufacturing processes, while utilizing high-concentration hyaluronic acid raw materials to enhance crosslinking efficiency.
It added that through a multi-step purification process lasting approximately two weeks, residual crosslinker and potential micro-hydrolysis byproducts (BDPE) generated during crosslinking are minimized to strengthen safety, while maintaining the physical properties and longevity of the existing ‘TheChaeum Premium’ product.
Hugel operates a range of HA filler products, including TheChaeum Signature, four variants of ‘TheChaeum Premium’, and the large-volume body filler ‘TheChaeum Shape’.
