AI Skin Analysis Specialist Lululab Earns Top Grade

AI skin analysis specialist Lululab (CEO Yong-jun Choi) announced on the 21st that it has obtained the highest grade, ‘TI-1’, in the Technology Credit Bureau (TCB) evaluation for investment purposes from NICE Information Service.

The investment technology evaluation grade is a system that comprehensively assesses a company’s technological capabilities, commercialization capacity, marketability, and growth potential. The TI-1 grade is the highest rating given to companies whose technological prowess and future growth potential are evaluated at the top level.

In its evaluation report, NICE Information Service highly rated Lululab’s core technology, ‘AI-based skin analysis and diagnostic technology.’ In particular, it highlighted high-resolution, high-precision 3D scanning and analysis technology, micro-lesion precise detection technology, and generative AI-based 3D simulation technology as key competitive advantages.

Notably, in comparative experiments with global AI companies, Lululab’s skin analysis accuracy was 15% higher, and analysis speed was 75% faster. These results have been published in papers and other outlets. Additionally, the company’s accumulation of over 5 million skin data points from more than 60 countries worldwide, along with numerous patents and R&D achievements, were recognized as strengths.

Meanwhile, Lululab holds approximately 90 patents (registered and applied), and has consistently invested in advancing AI skin analysis technology, with an average R&D investment ratio of 44.1% over the past three years. Currently, it provides technology that can compare and track changes before and after skin procedures, and plans to expand its application scope to skin disease analysis and prognosis prediction in the future.
