Editor’s Note

Galderma is rolling out its premium regenerative skincare brand Alastin across Asia-Pacific, with launches in Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore following earlier entries into Australia and China.

Galderma Launches Alastin Across Asia-Pacific Markets in Relay

Swiss skin health specialist Galderma announced on July 20 that its premium regenerative skincare brand Alastin is launching in multiple Asia-Pacific markets. Following its recent debut in Taiwan, the brand is poised to enter Japan, with approvals also secured for South Korea and Singapore, where launches are scheduled for November and September, respectively.
This expansion follows Alastin’s recent launches in Australia and China, underscoring Galderma’s continued investment in the Japan and Asia-Pacific (JPAC) region. The JPAC market is experiencing rapid growth in premium skincare and injectable aesthetics products.
The rollout reflects rising demand in the region for integrated skincare solutions that support skin preparation, recovery, and long-term skin quality. Galderma aims to meet these needs through Alastin’s range of pre- and post-procedure support and daily-use products.

TriHex Technology: A Key Differentiator

Alastin products feature Galderma’s proprietary TriHex Technology, which uniquely combines peptide ingredients to help remove aged and damaged collagen and elastin while supporting the production of new, healthy collagen and elastin. This dual mechanism underpins a regenerative approach.
For example, the anti-aging serum ‘Restorative Skin Complex with TriHex+’ promotes the skin’s natural production of high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid while enhancing collagen and elastin synthesis, contributing to long-term skin longevity.

Expert and Executive Perspectives
“Today’s patients want more than surface hydration from skincare products. They seek products that support skin function, renewal, and long-term quality,” said Dr. Reiko Tsubouchi, a dermatologist at Ginza Skin Clinic in Tokyo. “Alastin enhances skin regeneration, supports recovery, and helps patients achieve healthier, more resilient, naturally radiant skin while complementing aesthetic procedures. We welcome its expanded availability in Asia-Pacific.”
“Alastin is setting a new standard in regenerative skincare,” said Allen D. Wizerow, Chief Scientific Officer and Head of Innovation & Dermatological Skincare at Galderma. “It is highly encouraging to introduce Alastin to patients and healthcare professionals across Japan and Asia-Pacific, a market with growing demand for aesthetic procedures and pre- and post-procedure care products.”

Alastin products are expected to synergize with Galderma’s injectable aesthetics portfolio and daily skincare maintenance regimens, enabling customized patient solutions.

Strategic Growth in JPAC

The JPAC region is a key growth engine for Galderma. With the Alastin launch, the company aims to expand access to its holistic regenerative skincare portfolio, addressing trends from skin quality and longevity to menopause-related skin health, drug-induced weight loss, and aging concerns.
