【Taipei, Taiw】In the Era of Super-Aging, the Medical Community Creates a Healthcare Model Integrating Health, Beauty, and Longevity

Editor’s Note

**Editor’s Note:** As Taiwan hurtles toward a super-aged society, this year’s Nobel Health Forum explores a critical pivot: integrating aesthetic, regenerative, and AI-driven medicine to forge a holistic model uniting health, beauty, and longevity. The medical community’s cross-disciplinary push signals a new blueprint for healthy aging.

In the face of the rapidly approaching super-aged society, how to leverage innovative technologies such as aesthetic medicine, regenerative medicine, anti-aging medicine, and AI-powered smart healthcare to create a medical care model that integrates health, beauty, and longevity has become a key topic of concern for the medical community.

Cross-Disciplinary Integration in the Medical Community to Create a New Blueprint for a Healthy Taiwan

Now in its 20th edition, the “Nobel Health Forum” this year, themed “Riding the Wind,” jointly hosts the “Aesthetic Medicine and Clinical Laser Medicine Forum” and the “Integrative Medicine and Regenerative Medicine Forum.” It brings together domestic and international experts and scholars to discuss the latest developments in aesthetic medicine, regenerative medicine, health management, and integrative medicine, charting a new direction for healthcare in Taiwan.

“Taiwan’s healthcare is moving towards a new era of integrated medicine. In the future, we will combine aesthetic medicine, health management, AI smart healthcare, and cross-specialty collaboration to build a comprehensive healthcare model covering prevention, treatment, repair, and health promotion. This will drive medicine from disease treatment towards health management, enhance the healthy lifespan of the population, and realize the vision of a ‘Healthy Taiwan,'” said Professor Chang Chao-Kai, CEO of the forum.

This year’s forum specifically focuses on hot topics such as photoelectric therapy, minimally invasive procedures, regenerative medicine, and anti-aging. Notably, the Photoelectric Minimally Invasive session, in collaboration with the Chinese Association of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, hosts the “Cross-Strait Minimally Invasive Aesthetic Medicine Academic Conference.” It invites experts from both sides of the strait to share the latest achievements in minimally invasive aesthetics, photoelectric lasers, and clinical innovative technologies, promoting academic exchange and clinical experience sharing. The forum also arranges two Video Demo clinical demonstrations, where experts analyze popular treatments such as facial rejuvenation, midface contouring, and composite thread lift rhinoplasty on-site, covering pre-operative assessment, treatment planning, and actual operation, fully presenting clinical decision-making thinking and practical skills.

“Aesthetic medicine is no longer just about improving appearance; it is gradually developing into an important medical field that combines healthy aging, regenerative medicine, and holistic health management. By continuously deepening international academic exchanges, enhancing clinical techniques, and establishing high-quality medical standards, we can help improve the international competitiveness of Taiwan’s aesthetic medicine and create a new generation of medical models that integrate safety, health, and beauty,” stated Dr. Chen Mei-Ling, Chairperson of the Taiwan Society of Aesthetic Medicine and Clinical Laser Medicine.

The forum also plans a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) session focusing on integrated Chinese and Western medicine. Experts share clinical results of beauty acupuncture and snake venom peptides in treating skin diseases, as well as new-generation laser acupuncture applied to dry eye syndrome, atopic dermatitis, musculoskeletal diseases, and women’s diseases. This demonstrates the diverse applications of traditional medicine combined with modern technology, offering more treatment options for integrated medicine.
Delaying aging and promoting healthy aging are also key themes of the forum. Dr. Chen Yung-Jen, Executive Director of the Taiwan Society for Anti-Aging and Cell Regenerative Medicine, pointed out that integrated cancer care and gut health are important future directions for anti-aging medicine. Through gut microbiota modulation, precision nutrition, and cross-specialty integrated medicine, it is possible not only to enhance the effectiveness of adjuvant cancer therapy but also to improve metabolic function, maintain immune balance, and further extend the healthy lifespan.
The forum also facilitates in-depth exchanges on topics such as blood purification, pain management, and dementia prevention, showcasing new trends in cross-disciplinary collaboration among preventive medicine, integrative medicine, and regenerative medicine.
Additionally, for the first time, a session on Tattoo Aesthetics is held, focusing on infection risk management in tattooing, medical regulations, and clinical practice. The aim is to establish more comprehensive professional standards, enhance medical safety and the quality of aesthetic services, and promote the healthy development of the industry.

This forum was held on July 12th at the Chang Yung-Fa International Convention Center. It was co-organized by the Taiwan Society of Aesthetic Medicine and Clinical Laser Medicine, the Taiwan Society for Anti-Aging and Cell Regenerative Medicine, the International Medical Science Research Foundation, and the Taiwan Facial Acupuncture Medical Association. It serves as a crucial platform for exchange across aesthetic medicine, regenerative medicine, integrative medicine, and preventive medicine. Through innovative medical technology, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and international academic exchanges, the forum aims to jointly promote the continuous improvement of medical quality and realize the vision of “moving from treatment to prevention, from extending lifespan to extending healthy lifespan,” working together towards a new future for a Healthy Taiwan.
