**Editor’s Note:** Wontech’s ‘Pastelle Pro’ laser device has secured TFDA approval in Taiwan, marking a strategic step into the local aesthetic market with dual-wavelength capabilities for non-invasive soft tissue procedures.
Wontech has received approval from Taiwan’s health authority (TFDA) for a new device, accelerating its push into the local aesthetic market.
On the 22nd, Wontech announced that its laser medical device ‘Pastelle Pro’ has obtained TFDA medical device certification in Taiwan.

The device supports two wavelengths: 532nm and 1064nm. It has been approved in Taiwan for non-invasive soft tissue procedures including incision, excision, tissue removal, vaporization, coagulation, and hemostasis, as well as treatment of pigmented and vascular lesions, tattoo removal, and hair removal.
A key feature is its specially designed handpiece, which allows precise adjustment of spot size, depth, and energy density to match clinical indications.
With this product approval, Wontech is expanding its product portfolio in Taiwan. Taiwan has a high demand for non-invasive cosmetic dermatology procedures, underpinned by its advanced medical standards.

According to global market research firm Frost & Sullivan, Taiwan’s medical aesthetics service market was valued at approximately $2.4 billion in 2025 and is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.1% through 2030.
Earlier this year, in May, the company held a global brand event ‘Wave Taiwan’ in Taiwan, showcasing its flagship lineup including Olyzio X, Titan, and Picocare Majesty.
