Editor’s Note

This article covers the 2026 Beauty & Healthcare Show Export Business Meeting, held July 23-24 at Songdo Convensia in Incheon, featuring 225 companies and 541 consultations.

Event Overview

The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) announced on July 27 that 225 domestic and international companies participated in the ‘2026 Beauty & Healthcare Show Export Business Meeting’ held at Songdo Convensia in Incheon from July 23 to 24.

Organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and Incheon Metropolitan City, the meeting featured 188 domestic companies and 37 overseas buyers. A total of 541 consultations were conducted over two days, with consultation amounts reaching $39 million—a 77% increase from the previous year. This also exceeded the initial target of $25 million by 58%.

Global South Focus

To diversify export markets, KOTRA attracted 18 of the 37 overseas buyers from Global South regions, including Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East. Incheon-based Skin Nine Cosmetic signed a $200,000 business agreement with a Nigerian buyer.

Expanded Product Categories

Consultation items expanded beyond skincare and color cosmetics to include products combining beauty and healthcare, such as AI skin diagnostics, personalized beauty devices, LED masks, high-frequency devices, and sleep technology products.

On-Site Support

The meeting also operated a ‘Mobile KOTRA’ program, providing consultations on export-related challenges including overseas certifications, trade and customs, intellectual property rights, and logistics.

Future Plans

KOTRA plans to provide follow-up support for participating companies and overseas buyers to ensure that the consultation results lead to actual export contracts.
