【Shenzhen, Ch】From China’s ‘ANLAN’: A Facial Device That ‘Doesn’t Choose Light’ – No Hesitation, No Effort, Easy to Continue

Editor’s Note

**Editor’s Note:** ANLAN expands its beauty tech lineup with the launch of the Rose Lumi, a lightweight facial device featuring proprietary full-spectrum light technology. The device simplifies skincare by consolidating multiple wavelengths into a single pink light, eliminating mode-switching for users.

Product Launch

Chinese beauty tech brand ANLAN has launched a new light-based facial device, the “ANLAN Rose Lumi” (112g, ¥19,800), featuring its proprietary technology. The device uses the brand’s self-developed full-spectrum smart light technology “Evolumina,” which consolidates multiple wavelengths into a single “pink light.” This eliminates the need to switch between different light modes for various purposes, positioning it as an easy-to-integrate beauty device for daily skincare routines.
ANLAN is a beauty tech brand originating from Shenzhen, China, and is now present in 19 countries worldwide, including Japan, the United States, Germany, Russia, China, and Southeast Asia. The brand harmonizes traditional Eastern beauty practices with modern technology, incorporating concepts like acupressure and Gua Sha into its latest beauty appliances.
The ANLAN Rose Lumi was developed to address common challenges with facial devices, such as “too many functions to master” and “difficulty in maintaining a routine.” Aiming to be a “beauty device that requires no hesitation, no effort, and is easy to continue,” it is built on the concept of “light beauty without choosing light.” Thanks to the Evolumina technology, it eliminates the hassle of switching between red and blue LEDs for different purposes. The device offers multi-faceted skincare in a single unit, from brightening the complexion and firming the skin to providing a tightening effect. It also features three drive modes to enhance results according to skincare goals, enabling optimal efficiency for product absorption, firming, and tightening.

Design and Ergonomics

The design features an ergonomic, water-drop-shaped 45° curved head that fits the contours of the face. It is engineered to easily adapt to fine details around the eyes, mouth, nasolabial folds, and jawline.

Market Strategy and Goals
“We expect this product to become a staple for Japanese users as an easy-to-continue item in their daily skincare routine. We aim to make it a flagship product that builds a new brand image,” said Ling Qing, ANLAN’s Japan Market Manager.

Going forward, the brand plans to increase brand awareness through TV commercials (web and cable) featuring actor Mizuki Yamamoto, as well as pop-up stores integrated with social media campaigns. The first-year sales target is 30,000 units.
