**Editor’s Note:** Dongkuk Pharmaceutical has introduced the Madeca Sun Shield Pad, a pad-type sunscreen designed for convenient, mess-free reapplication outdoors.
Dongkuk Pharmaceutical (CEO Song Jun-ho) announced on the 22nd the launch of ‘Madeca Sun Shield Pad’, a pad-type sunscreen that can be conveniently reapplied outdoors without getting hands sticky.
The ‘Madeca Sun Shield Pad’ is a sun care product used by wiping the skin. It enhances portability and ease of use, considering the burden of sticky sunscreen creams or the need for frequent reapplication outdoors. The pad adheres evenly along the skin texture, allowing detailed application to curved areas like the eye area and nose tip. It also features the ability to wipe away sweat, sebum, fine dust, and other impurities from the skin surface while reapplying sunscreen.
It reduces discomfort such as residue on hands and eye stinging that can occur with traditional cream or spray-type products. Since it can be used without directly touching the face with hands, it enables more hygienic sun care. Each pad is sufficiently soaked with sunscreen liquid to cover not only the face but also large areas like the neck and arms. Packaged in a resealable zipper pouch, it is portable for various outdoor activities such as travel, exercise, camping, golf, and hiking, allowing frequent use.
The product contains cica ingredients including centella asiatica extract to soothe and protect skin sensitized by UV rays and external heat stimuli. It also incorporates 10 types of hyaluronic acid to provide moisture to skin prone to dryness from UV exposure. Low-irritation tests have been completed on sensitive skin. The pad is designed to manage UV protection, skin texture refinement, soothing, and moisturizing in one step.
