This article highlights Overlaps’ debut at Intercharm Korea, showcasing four ectoin-based skincare ranges designed to strengthen the skin barrier and differentiate the brand through a key functional ingredient.
Intercharm Korea is the leading beauty trade show in South Korea, featuring domestic and international beauty brands, distributors, buyers, and raw material suppliers.
Overlaps is presenting nine products across four ranges (Active, Pink, Oasis, and Core) at booth C-Q21 at COEX. All products contain ectoin, the brand’s flagship ingredient, and the range is designed to strengthen the skin barrier, form a hydrating protective film, and shield the skin from external aggressors.
At the exhibition, visitors can experience a variety of products up close, including the beauty device ‘Glowy Wand’ for radiance and elasticity care, the ‘Ectoin Moist Sun’ sunscreen with enhanced UV protection, a radiance serum and cleansing oil to improve skin tone and glow, a highly hydrating toner lotion, serum, and cream, as well as a skin barrier-strengthening cream.
Overlaps uses ectoin, a protective substance produced by microorganisms that survive in extreme environments, as its key brand ingredient.
Ectoin is a recognized functional ingredient that strengthens the skin’s barrier function by forming a hydrating protective film on its surface. It thus protects the skin from external aggressors such as UV rays, heat, and pollution. Overlaps offers skincare solutions tailored to each skin’s needs and goals by modulating the ectoin concentration and the properties of each product.
Through its participation in Intercharm, Overlaps plans to promote its brand competitiveness to domestic consumers, distributors, and buyers, and expand its offline touchpoints.
