(Provided by Chong Kun Dang Bio) (Seoul = News 1) Reporter Kim Jeong-eun = Chong Kun Dang Bio (063160) announced on the 13th that it held a symposium on the 11th at Josun Palace Gangnam in Seoul, inviting domestic aesthetic medical professionals to commemorate the 1st anniversary of the launch of its botulinum toxin product ‘TMBUS Injection’.
TMBUS Injection is a new strain toxin produced based on an exclusive strain from a German institution. It is a product strengthening its position in the premium botulinum toxin market with differentiated features: a formulation that does not use Human Serum Albumin (HSA-Free), contains L-Histidine, and holds Halal certification.
Human Serum Albumin (HSA) is a protein extracted from human blood, used in some botulinum toxin formulations to enhance drug stability. HSA-Free refers to a formulation that does not use this.
This symposium was organized under the theme ‘New Standards for Safe Toxin Procedures and Product Selection’, serving as a platform to share clinical experiences and the latest treatment trends over the past year since the launch of TMBUS Injection.
The first session featured a lecture by Director Ko Ik-su of Ko Ik-su Plastic Surgery Clinic, who presented on safe botulinum toxin injection techniques and product selection criteria.
Following this, Director Bae Kyung-tae of It’s Me Clinic (Sejong branch) shared one year of clinical experience and procedural know-how using TMBUS Injection. Director Park Shin-hye of Miho Clinic also presented various combination treatment cases involving TMBUS Injection.
During the event, the ‘TMBUS Injection 200 Unit’ product, scheduled for launch in early August, was also introduced, drawing high interest from attendees. Following the existing 100-unit product, the 200-unit product is expected to provide a more efficient option for extensive or high-volume procedures.
Park Wan-gap, CEO of Chong Kun Dang Bio, stated, “It is meaningful to share the clinical experience and know-how accumulated with key domestic doctors on the first anniversary of TMBUS Injection’s launch.” He added, “We will expand the botulinum toxin market to the global stage.”
