(Cheongju = International News) Reporter Lee Sang-seok – Chungcheongbuk-do announced that it achieved 19.4 billion KRW (approx. USD 14.5 million) in export consultations and 15.6 billion KRW (approx. USD 11.7 million) in export contracts by participating in the 2026 Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas, held from July 13 to 15 in Las Vegas, USA.
At this exhibition, 10 cosmetic companies from Chungcheongbuk-do actively engaged with global buyers. They laid the foundation for expanding global market channels by accelerating their entry into the U.S. market.
The Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas exhibition, held since 2003, is the largest B2B cosmetic trade show in North America and is considered one of the world’s top three beauty exhibitions, alongside Bologna, Italy, and Hong Kong. This year’s exhibition featured over 1,100 companies from 45 countries, providing a platform for the latest beauty trends and global business collaboration.
In individual company booths, five companies participated: HPNC (basic/functional cosmetics), CLMedicis (skin booster), Gens International (skin booster), NGTIN (basic/functional cosmetics), and Mignon Korea (eyelash perm products). In the joint promotion hall, five companies participated: Korean Essential (eye cream), Forusgen (Chomi Abali Cream), Dejuvent (sunscreen), Pocom (foot care cosmetics), and Oldam (cleansing wipes). A total of 10 companies showcased their representative products.
In particular, consultations were actively conducted focusing on products with high demand in the U.S. market, such as functional cosmetics, skin boosters, and sun care products, providing an opportunity to highlight the technological capabilities and product competitiveness of local companies.
Based on the overseas buyer network established at this exhibition, Chungcheongbuk-do plans to continue supporting follow-up consultations and contract closures, and systematically support the global market entry of local cosmetic companies by expanding step-by-step overseas marketing, including international exhibitions and export consultation meetings.
