**Editor’s Note:** BonitoLAB, a collective of cosmetics and beauty experts, has announced a comprehensive one-stop solution service encompassing R&D, design support, and marketing strategy. This move signals the group’s ambition to lead in the evolving K-beauty landscape.
BonitoLAB (CEO: Park Seong-kwon), a group of cosmetics and beauty experts that focuses on diverse K-cosmetics and beauty experiences and global cosmetics trends, has declared a ‘one-stop cosmetic solution’ service covering R&D, design support, and marketing strategy establishment and execution. The company is now embarking on a new wave.
CEO Park Seong-kwon, who is also a traditional Chinese medicine doctor and has extensive experience across nearly all cosmetics categories including base and color cosmetics, founded BonitoLAB in 2019. After completing a warm-up period, the company has now announced the full-scale launch of total services that meet client needs, ranging from natural and organic concepts to functional, medical, and spa products. Boldly breaking away from simple brand and product development, BonitoLAB’s business model starts with ODM/OEM process handling through new formulation development and extends to branding and packaging design services, brand and product launch programs, PR and social media plans, sampling and training support programs, and RA (regulatory approval, registration, and certification) process support, covering the entire cosmetics business process.
Among the over 4,000 domestic cosmetics OEM/ODM companies, many claim differentiation, but few can realize it. As K-cosmetics and beauty R&D and manufacturing capabilities have leveled up and gained global competitiveness, finding differentiation points and turning them into successful businesses requires overcoming greater challenges and barriers. CEO Park emphasized:
After obtaining his traditional Chinese medicine doctor license, CEO Park himself has participated in and led the development of nearly all product types at leading domestic cosmetics companies. His ability to control the entire process—from brand and product development planning and execution to marketing support systems and sales support—also enables the realization of this business model.
BonitoLAB successfully completed its debut at this year’s InterCharm Korea exhibition (July 1-3). The company is expanding its influence as a win-win cooperation partner with SuiK Co., Ltd., which is solidifying its position as a domestic cosmetics natural raw material and ingredient specialist. BonitoLAB plans to strengthen its status as a future-oriented company leading K-cosmetics and beauty by completing differentiation from existing OEM/ODM companies.
