**Editor’s Note:** Huons Group has successfully launched its botulinum toxin product, Hutox, in China with a large-scale symposium in Hangzhou, hosted by local partner Aimeike.
Huons Group is accelerating its entry into the Chinese aesthetic medicine market by announcing the official launch of its botulinum toxin product ‘Hutox’ in China.
Huons Group affiliates Humedix and Huons Biopharma announced on the 20th that they held the Hutox Launch Symposium at the JW Marriott Hotel in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China.
The event was hosted by Aimeike Technology (Aimeike), Huons Biopharma’s exclusive local partner in China. The two companies plan to use this academic event as an opportunity to expand contact with local medical professionals and beauty industry stakeholders, and to elevate the brand awareness of Hutox in the global market.
At the symposium, domestic aesthetic medicine expert Dr. Kim Gun-woo, director of Cheongdam Cellinic Clinic, served as a speaker. Dr. Kim shared detailed insights on global trends in botulinum toxin procedures, practical clinical application cases, and product management know-how, drawing significant attention from local stakeholders.
Hutox is a cosmetic and therapeutic pharmaceutical product with botulinum toxin as its main ingredient, frequently used in aesthetic procedures such as improving frown lines and crow’s feet.
Previously, partner Aimeike signed a contract with Huons Biopharma in 2022, securing exclusive import and distribution rights for Hutox across China, including Macau and Hong Kong. After undergoing clinical trials and regulatory procedures, the product obtained final product approval from China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) in January this year, completing the foundation for commercialization.
At this event, Humedix leveraged its domestic medical professional network capabilities to provide comprehensive support, including inviting academic speakers and planning detailed communications.
