This article reports on Huons Group’s launch symposium for its botulinum toxin product Hutox in Hangzhou, China, marking the company’s full-scale entry into the Chinese market.

[Daily Hankook Reporter Shim Woo-min] Huons Group’s Humedix and Huons BioPharma announced on the 20th that they held a launch symposium for the botulinum toxin ‘Hutox’ on the 16th at the JW Marriott Hotel in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China.
The symposium was hosted by iMaker Technology, Huons BioPharma’s local partner in China. The event included the official launch announcement of Hutox and an academic exchange program. Humedix supported the symposium by inviting speakers and organizing academic programs based on its domestic medical professional network.
Hutox is a cosmetic and therapeutic pharmaceutical product used to improve glabellar lines and crow’s feet.
iMaker secured exclusive import and distribution rights for the botulinum toxin product in China (including Macau and Hong Kong) from Huons BioPharma in 2022, and obtained product approval from the China National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) for Hutox in January of this year.
