Colombian influencer Adriana Manotas Rodríguez died after undergoing an aesthetic procedure at an unlicensed clinic in Bogotá. She was 52 years old.
Manotas Rodríguez, who shared lifestyle content with her more than 23,000 followers on Facebook, reportedly attended the clandestine facility to undergo a liposuction procedure.
According to Noticias Caracol, authorities indicated that the woman experienced complications after the intervention and was subsequently transferred to a Red Cross facility, where she died.
The Prosecutor’s Office suspects that the content creator suffered a reaction or intoxication derived from medications used during the procedure, but the case continues to be investigated.
In November 2025, the establishment and the physician who provided services at that location received two sanitary measures for failing to meet the requirements demanded for offering services related to health procedures.
