**Editor’s Note:** BioViju shares surged over 23% on the 21st, driven by accelerated U.S. market expansion for its medical cosmetics brand CANDORLOV and growing optimism around its skin booster business.
BioViju, a medical cosmetics brand, is showing strong performance during trading hours as it accelerates its U.S. market expansion and adds expectations for skin booster business growth.
As of 3:09 PM on the 21st, BioViju was trading at 7,750 won, up 23.64% from the previous day.
The company is speeding up its North American market expansion through the entry of its medical cosmetics brand ‘CANDORLOV (CDL)’ into U.S. pharmacy chains. CANDORLOV offers a range of basic skincare products including mask packs, serums, ampoules, toner pads, mists, and creams.

The U.S. is rapidly emerging as a key market for K-beauty. Last year, Korean cosmetics exports to the U.S. surpassed those to China for the first time, making the U.S. the largest export destination, further increasing growth potential in the local market. BioViju is strengthening its North American market strategy by expanding both online and offline distribution channels simultaneously.
The company is also securing growth drivers in the medical aesthetics field. Recently, BioViju secured exclusive domestic distribution rights for ‘Cellivion,’ an extracellular matrix (ECM) skin booster brand based on acellular dermal matrix (hADM), expanding its product portfolio. ECM-based skin boosters are gaining attention as next-generation aesthetic products that promote skin regeneration and improve elasticity.
The filler brand ‘COLENA’ is also a business with high growth expectations. After obtaining domestic product approval in March, it has laid the foundation for expanding OEM production. Future CE certification in Europe and NMPA certification in China are expected to accelerate overseas market expansion.

Currently, BioViju supplies products to over 10 countries, including China, and is expanding its sales channels to global markets, including North America, based on its existing Chinese distribution network.
The market views that as the global medical aesthetics market steadily grows around fillers and skin boosters, companies with capabilities in R&D, production, and global distribution will become more competitive.
BioViju is a medical aesthetics specialist that researches, develops, and produces skin boosters and fillers using hyaluronic acid and various biomaterials. Its current annual production capacity is approximately 2.64 million units, which is expected to expand to about 8.64 million units after the completion of its second factory.

The company plans to further strengthen its competitiveness in the global medical aesthetics market by developing new products applying next-generation biomaterials such as lipid nanoparticles (LNP) and exosomes, and diversifying its product lineup.
