Director Kim Ki-tae of Taeseong Plastic Surgery Clinic has presented the latest clinical strategies for facial lifting using Ellansé at IMCAS Asia 2026, Asia’s largest international aesthetic medicine conference.
Director Kim attended IMCAS Asia 2026 held on June 19 as an invited speaker, delivering a lecture titled ‘Natural Facial Contouring and Lifting Using Ellansé.’ IMCAS Asia is a leading aesthetic medicine conference in Asia, where medical professionals and researchers from around the world share the latest treatment technologies and clinical experiences in dermatology and plastic surgery.
In his lecture, Director Kim introduced a structural facial approach that goes beyond conventional filler treatments of simply adding volume. He emphasized a comprehensive analysis of the facial anatomy to restore balance. The presentation covered structural facial analysis considering the facial skeleton, fat compartments, retaining ligaments, and soft tissue sagging. He shared treatment strategies based on the supporting structures of the face, including the midface, temples, chin, and jawline, along with various clinical cases.
He also shared practical clinical know-how, including the selection of injection layers considering the properties of Ellansé, a PCL (Polycaprolactone)-based filler that stimulates autologous collagen production, and injection techniques to avoid anatomical danger zones.
