India, with a population of approximately 1.5 billion and a rapidly growing middle class, presents significant potential for aesthetic medical procedures. Despite expanding demand, botulinum toxin treatment rates remain low, making it a high-growth market. Hugel plans to accelerate its market penetration through local distributor Aakaar Medical.

At the GAS conference, Hugel and Aakaar Medical focused on enhancing brand awareness and building a network of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). Featured speaker Benjamin Chan highlighted Letybo’s ‘Narrow Diffusion’ characteristic, which enables predictable treatment outcomes, showcasing the product’s competitive edge.
The company will continue with local launch events and hands-on workshops through July 24, expanding medical professional training and academic exchanges. Hugel’s strategy includes using India as a base for further expansion into the Asia-Pacific region.
