**Editor’s Note:** Hugel has officially launched Letybo in India at the Global Aesthetics Summit, targeting a high-growth market with rising aesthetic demand and low botulinum toxin procedure rates. The company aims for a 9% market share.
[PharmNews = Reporter Kim Eung-min] Hugel announced on the 22nd that it participated in the ‘Global Aesthetics Summit (GAS)’ held in Goa, India from the 19th to the 21st, and officially launched its botulinum toxin ‘Letybo’ in the Indian market.
India is classified as a high-growth-potential market, as demand for aesthetic medicine is rising but the botulinum toxin procedure rate remains relatively low. Hugel aims to achieve a 9% market share in the Indian aesthetics market this year, focusing on early market stabilization.
At the conference, Hugel conducted academic marketing together with its local distributor ‘Aakaar Medical’. Australian KOL Benjamin Chan, who participated as a speaker, introduced the predictability of procedures based on Letybo’s narrow diffusion characteristics.
Hugel’s entry into India is based on collaboration with local distributor Aakaar Medical. Starting with the GAS conference, the company will roll out hands-on workshops and academic marketing to highlight the ‘narrow diffusion’ formulation characteristics and expand its Asia-Pacific network.
The company plans to hold launch events and hands-on workshops with the local distributor until the 24th, and expand its Asia-Pacific network through KOL-centered academic exchanges.
