Cosmetic packaging manufacturer Yonwoo (a subsidiary of Kolmar Korea) held the industry’s first large-scale event, the ‘Yonwoo Packaging Summit,’ on the 21st at the Kolmar Korea Comprehensive Technology Institute auditorium, focusing on packaging trends and global quality strategies.
The seminar was a success, with over 200 participants from 100 companies, including domestic and international cosmetic brands, ODM/OEM companies, beauty B2B platforms, and packaging and raw material suppliers. Yonwoo has been conducting monthly ‘PTR (Packaging Trend Report) Briefing Days’ since last year, and this time expanded the scale to develop an event encompassing the entire industry.

In particular, in line with the PPWR regulation set to take effect in August, the company shared practical insights on European export packaging standards, including enhanced recyclability and expanded use of recycled materials.
Yonwoo plans to regularize trend seminars and quality guide sharing following this summit to strengthen communication with client companies and expand collaborative activities with Kolmar Korea to enhance synergy in design, formulation, and package development.
Founded in 1983, Yonwoo is a specialized cosmetic packaging company that produced Korea’s first cosmetic dispenser pump and holds commercialized technology for ‘airless pumps.’
