【South Korea】TENTEK Obtains Russian and Kazakh Approvals for ‘TENSERMA’… Initial Shipment Loaded

Editor’s Note

TENTEK’s ‘TENSERMA’ device has secured regulatory approvals in Russia and Kazakhstan, marking its entry into the CIS market with initial shipments underway.

Regulatory Approvals and Market Entry

TENTEK announced on the 23rd that its self-developed monopolar radiofrequency (Monopolar RF) skin aesthetic medical device ‘TENSERMA’ has obtained product approvals from health authorities in Russia and Kazakhstan, and is shipping initial quantities for local market supply.

Through these approvals, TENTEK has secured a product supply base in Russia and Kazakhstan, a key market in the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) region. Following the approvals, the first shipment has been loaded under a supply agreement with a local partner, marking the start of full-scale exports.

In Russia and the broader CIS region, demand for aesthetic medical procedures such as lifting and skin tightening has been rising, attracting global aesthetic medical device companies. Domestic (South Korean) skin aesthetic medical device firms are also expanding into local markets and distribution networks.

Product Technology and Features

TENSERMA is a skin aesthetic medical device applying a 6.78MHz monopolar radiofrequency system with a maximum output of 400W. It incorporates proprietary design technologies such as a smart cooling system and impedance matching to deliver energy uniformly and stably during procedures.

Planned Activities and Expansion

TENTEK plans to expand contact with local medical professionals following the initial shipment. It will conduct academic seminars and hands-on workshops for Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and participate in local medical device exhibitions.

“Obtaining approvals in the strictly regulated markets of Russia and Kazakhstan is an objective recognition of TENSERMA’s technological capabilities,” said Han Dong-ok, CEO of TENTEK. “With nearly 1,000 units sold domestically and internationally, this export will accelerate our market share expansion in the CIS region.”

TENTEK has secured overseas medical device certifications including FDA, ANVISA, TGA, MDSAP, and CE MDR. Following its entry into the US, Thailand, Brazil, and now the CIS region, the company plans to expand its global direct and indirect distribution network and increase the proportion of overseas revenue.
