Juvéderm® (Juvéderm), a hyaluronic acid filler brand by South Korean Allergan Aesthetics–AbbVie Company, is a product approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) in South Korea and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Juvéderm is a hyaluronic acid filler that applies the proprietary VYCROSS™ technology. Hyaluronic acid fillers, which are cosmetic implants that add volume to the skin and improve wrinkles, vary in physical properties such as elasticity and cohesion depending on concentration and cross-linking degree. Juvéderm has been designed to precisely control these characteristics, achieving stable physical properties. Based on this, it is used in over 100 countries worldwide. The Juvéderm product line has undergone product-specific clinical studies to evaluate safety and efficacy, and has secured clinical evidence for approved indications.
Juvéderm is conducting the ‘Safety in Action 3·3·3’ campaign to spread a safe aesthetic medical culture. This campaign emphasizes the importance of safety management throughout the entire process—before, during, and after procedures—by thoroughly evaluating the patient’s condition before the procedure, adhering to infection prevention protocols during the procedure, and maintaining a smooth communication system between patients and medical staff for 72 hours after the procedure.
Alongside this, it operates a medical staff education program based on the global procedural guidelines MD Codes™.
