The security services of El Meniaa province have continued their inspection campaigns aimed at protecting consumer health, launching targeted inspections of several barber shops and women’s beauty salons, resulting in the seizure and destruction of a quantity of unidentified and unlabeled cosmetic products and materials.
This operation is part of efforts to combat the circulation of products that do not meet legal and health requirements, particularly those that may pose a risk to consumer safety due to the absence of origin data or non-compliance with applicable standards.
El Meniaa police called on barber and beauty shop owners to adhere to using and marketing products that meet specifications and are sourced from approved suppliers, and urged citizens to exercise caution and avoid using unidentified cosmetics to protect their health.
The security services confirmed that inspection operations will continue periodically, with necessary legal measures taken against all violators, as part of protecting public health and enhancing oversight of commercial activities related to consumer safety.
