(Hochiminhcity.gov.vn) – On the morning of July 23, the leading international exhibition series of the beauty industry opened at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Tan My Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, including Vietbeauty & Cosmobeauté Vietnam and Beautycare Plus.
Mr. Le Ton Dung, President of the Vietnam Association of Aesthetic Medicine (AMSV), stated at the opening ceremony that the Vietnamese beauty industry is entering a phase of strong development in terms of both market size and consumer demand.
Meanwhile, data from Metric shows that online retail sales in the beauty and personal care sector reached 74.4 trillion VND (approximately 2.83 billion USD), an increase of nearly 30% compared to the previous year, making it the leading sector in Vietnam’s e-commerce market.

This year’s exhibition is not only the largest trade promotion event in Vietnam’s beauty industry but also aims to become a forum for networking technology and innovation, thereby contributing to enhancing the competitiveness of businesses as the beauty industry enters a new development phase.
With an exhibition area of up to 17,600 m², the event attracted more than 3,000 beauty brands from 600 exhibitors across over 24 countries and territories, including Japan, South Korea, the United States, Malaysia, France, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, Switzerland, China, Vietnam, Italy, India, Cambodia… covering the entire value chain of the beauty industry, from raw materials, OEM/ODM processing, packaging, production machinery to cosmetics, perfumes, skincare, haircare, nail care, and specialized equipment for spas and beauty salons.

A highlight of this year’s fair is the B2B VIP Buyer Program, which facilitates business connections between exhibitors and manufacturers, importers, distributors, spa companies, clinics, and retail chains. Through this program, trade visitors can directly schedule meetings with exhibitors to find partners, expand their distribution networks, and gain access to international beauty brands.
According to Mr. Dung, new trends such as artificial intelligence (AI) to support data analysis and personalized care services, regenerative medicine, and minimally invasive cosmetic technologies are gradually shaping the new face of the industry.

Parallel to the exhibition, the event also includes a series of seminars on topics such as branding, business development, legal standards, sustainable development, production innovation, and technology application in the cosmetics industry.
The attractiveness of the exhibition is based on the positive growth prospects of the Vietnamese beauty industry. According to Statista Market Insights, the beauty and personal care market in Vietnam is expected to reach a volume of approximately 2.79 billion USD in 2025, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of about 3.26% from 2025 to 2030.
