**Editor’s Note:** This article highlights a key milestone achieved three years after launch, alongside an expansion of the Alpha Tip supply. We examine the implications of these developments for stakeholders and the broader ecosystem.
Medical aesthetics company Jeisys Medical (hereinafter referred to as Jeisys Medical) announced on the 24th that its flagship radiofrequency medical device, ‘DENSITY’, surpassed 1,000 units in domestic shipments as of last month.
DENSITY, a radiofrequency (RF) device, has maintained a steady increase in shipments since its launch in April 2023. This achievement was made in approximately three years since its launch within a single country. The growing interest from medical professionals and patients in non-invasive skin aesthetic procedures is interpreted as a result of DENSITY’s consistent shipment growth.
In the aesthetic medical device market, not only equipment sales but also the usage of dedicated tips and consumables serve as indicators of product competitiveness. As the number of installed units increases, the demand for repeatedly used consumables also rises, making the expansion of equipment distribution a foundation for long-term revenue.
In particular, the expansion of the DENSITY product lineup is also drawing attention alongside this achievement. The ‘Alpha Tip’, a third-generation new tip for DENSITY launched in January, recorded a cumulative supply of 10,000 units in three months and 20,000 units in four months, with shipments continuing to expand.
The DENSITY Alpha Tip is a third-generation tip designed exclusively for DENSITY, supporting both monopolar and bipolar radiofrequency energy delivery methods. It features an expanded electrode area compared to previous tips.
This milestone of 1,000 DENSITY units is the result of accumulated growth since its launch, and Jeisys Medical evaluates it as a meaningful milestone.
