Aesthetic medical device manufacturer Hironic (149980) has accelerated its shareholder return policy by paying its first quarterly dividend since its founding. The dividend, paid on the 27th, amounts to 233 won (approximately 26 yen) per share, with a total payout of about 4 billion won (approximately 400 million yen).
This dividend follows the cancellation of all treasury shares held by the company, marking the second shareholder return measure. The company plans to continue a sustainable shareholder return policy based on its performance and financial capacity.
The company explained that the dividend size was determined by comprehensively considering the distributable limit based on the most recent financial statements and financial soundness. It emphasized that this is not a one-time event but part of a sustainable shareholder return policy.
In the second half of the year, growth momentum is expected from new product launches and expanded overseas sales. First, FDA approval for the combined medical device “SYNERJET” is anticipated within the third quarter. Once approved, supply contracts already signed with North American distributors are expected to be executed in earnest.
In South Korea, sales of the combined medical device “SYNERJET PRO,” which received product approval this month, and the second-generation microwave medical device “MIGLOW” will begin in earnest. In overseas markets, revenue from various products is expected to be reflected sequentially from the second half. The “NEW DOUBLE series” is establishing sales structures in three Central and South American countries, while “SYNERJET” is being shipped to Taiwan. Additionally, “MIGLOW” and “SILKRO” are expected to generate revenue based on distribution contracts in Singapore and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Founded in 2006, Hironic is a KOSDAQ-listed company that specializes in developing and supplying aesthetic medical devices based on High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) and Radiofrequency (RF) technologies. Its representative brands include the “DOUBLE” series and “SYNERJET,” with products sold in markets worldwide.
