**Editor’s Note:** This article highlights BNB Korea’s proactive efforts to strengthen management transparency by engaging key partners in compliance-focused initiatives. As business growth and transaction volumes rise, such collaborative commitments to ethical practices and internal controls are essential for sustainable, long-term cooperation.
Representatives from key partner companies, including raw material suppliers, production subcontractors, and logistics firms, participated in the event. The company explained that the event aimed to share compliance management principles and lay the foundation for long-term cooperation, in line with business growth and increased transaction volume.
BNB Korea and its partners jointly committed, through a common pact, to implement compliance with relevant laws and contract clauses, establish a fair and transparent business order, prevent unfair trade practices, strengthen quality and safety management, and promote a culture of cooperation based on mutual respect.
The company plans to improve the objectivity and transparency of key transaction processes, such as partner selection, contract signing, determination of transaction terms, and payment, and to strengthen communication systems to gather difficulties and improvement suggestions from partner companies.
Partner companies also agreed to participate in building a sustainable supply chain by ensuring quality and on-time delivery, creating a safe working environment, and complying with applicable laws and ethical standards.
Through this declaration, BNB Korea will also strengthen its internal compliance management and corporate governance systems. The company plans to consolidate internal controls related to major transactions and the execution of financing operations, and to reorganize an independent decision-making system centered on the board of directors, to establish transparency and responsible management characteristic of a listed company.
As the scope of ESG management expands beyond the company’s internal sphere to encompass the entire supply chain, there is a growing trend to establish compliance management systems in collaboration with partners. It is also expected that, for the competitiveness of manufacturing companies, supply chain transparency and the level of responsible management will become important evaluation factors, on par with product quality.
