As consumer interest in personal beauty devices grows, the importance of accurate technical specifications and performance data is also increasing. In this context, beauty tech company CurePulse has confirmed a test report from an accredited testing institution regarding the ultrasonic output performance of its product and has disclosed the relevant figures.
CurePulse CEO Nam-gyu Cho explained that this technical verification was conducted to increase transparency of information in the beauty device market and provide consumers with objective test data.
At a time when consumer interest in personal beauty devices is rising, the domestic beauty device industry can move away from exaggerated marketing. By transparently disclosing objective test conditions and precise test data, as CurePulse has done, and competing with honest technology, the K-beauty ultrasound industry can establish itself as a core pillar for long-term success based on global market trust.
This performance evaluation was conducted through Eurofins KCTL (Test Report No.: KR26-YDZ0039). Eurofins KCTL is a leading private testing and certification institution in Korea specializing in electrical/electronic, information and communication, medical devices, and automotive parts. It is a subsidiary of the Eurofins Scientific Group, the world’s leading testing and analysis company based in Luxembourg.
CEO Nam-gyu Cho added, “During the evaluation process, electrical signal measurements inside the equipment were conducted, along with tests to identify the ‘Acoustic Output’ emitted within the medium.”
Based on the international standard for ultrasound, IEC 62127-1, the test results for DualTetra recorded the following underwater acoustic spectrum measurements: △3MHz mode (measured 3.48MHz) △10MHz mode (measured 11.64MHz) △19MHz mode (measured 19.06MHz) △25MHz mode (measured 26.78MHz).

These figures meet the allowable tolerance of ±20%, resulting in a ‘Pass’ judgment for all verification items. Additionally, measurements of distortion signals around the working signal confirmed that the output difference from nearby noise was stably maintained.
CEO Cho explained, “Regarding the characteristics of ultrasound technology, we designed the device to drive multiple frequencies within a single unit by utilizing the physical property that transmission characteristics vary depending on the frequency band.” This method controls the signal to output multiple frequency components crosswise, from low-frequency to ultra-high-frequency bands.
CurePulse, which has received investment from New Paradigm Investment and was selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ ‘TIPS Global Track,’ plans to continuously improve the precision of device operation by incorporating user-customized control technology in the future.
