CurePulse (CurePulse), a beauty tech startup recently selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ ‘2025 TIPS Global Track’, announced on the 28th that its portable ultrasound device ‘DualTetra’ has passed verification of its quadruple ultrasound output technical specifications and received an official test report from the accredited testing institution Eurofins KCTL.

CurePulse participated in this voluntary technical disclosure verification to enhance information transparency in the domestic beauty device market. To ensure fairness, the process was conducted by randomly purchasing products currently in distribution instead of using samples submitted by the manufacturer.

The organizing body and accredited testing institution focused on identifying the ‘Acoustic Output’ radiated within actual media (water tank/polymer phantom), going beyond simple electrical signal measurements inside the equipment. For this purpose, the international ultrasound standard IEC 62127-1 was adopted, and a total of four stages of precision testing were conducted.

The rigorous process began with internal drive signal analysis (electrical input measurement) using an oscilloscope and differential probe, followed by zero-crossing-based operating frequency analysis (time domain), FFT transformation-based verification of the 0-30MHz band frequency spectrum (spectrum domain), and finally, disassembly of the equipment after measurement to directly verify the resonant frequency of the piezoelectric ceramic through transducer structure analysis.

Test results showed that the DualTetra recorded 3MHz mode (3.48MHz), 10MHz mode (11.64MHz), 19MHz mode (19.06MHz), and 25MHz mode (26.78MHz) in the underwater acoustic spectrum actual measurements, all meeting the standard tolerance range (within ±20%) and receiving a ‘Pass’ judgment. The electrical drive waveform measurement also showed high consistency, with a noise difference of over 10dB near the operating signal, scientifically proving precise output without frequency interference. The technology to stably and losslessly cross-control multiple frequencies from low to ultra-high frequencies using a single transducer element is evaluated as a highly difficult technology with very high entry barriers.
