Editor's note

This report signals Classys' strategic shift to direct operations in Brazil, a key market for medical aesthetics. The sourcing from local dermatologists and a company representative underscores buyer relevance and supply-chain risk, as the transition aims to enhance service and education systems. Regulatory questions may arise regarding localized strategy and market dominance.

Classys Co., Ltd. (CEO Choi Yoon-seok) is accelerating its expansion in the South American market by holding its first customer event in Brazil since transitioning to a direct operation model. In March, the company acquired JL Health, its long-time partner and the largest medical aesthetics device distribution group in Brazil, converting its Brazilian operations to a direct model. This move is part of a strategy to strengthen market dominance in Brazil and South America, which are among the world's largest medical aesthetics markets.

On May 23, the symposium 'Masterminds 2026' was held in São Paulo, Brazil, attracting approximately 600 medical professionals from hospitals and clinics across South America. Over 30 leading dermatologists and plastic surgeons from the region participated as speakers and panelists, sharing the latest clinical results, treatment know-how, and market trends centered on Classys' flagship devices, 'Volnewmer' and 'Ultraformer' (the overseas name for Shurink).

Held about two months after the transition to direct operations, the event also featured sharing of clinical experiences and market evaluations from South American medical professionals. Professor Fabio Real, a Brazilian dermatologist, commented, "Unlike existing gas-cooling RF devices, Volnewmer uses continuous water-cooling technology to deliver more stable and uniform energy, resulting in high patient satisfaction in skin tightening and texture improvement."

Another Brazilian dermatologist, Rudy Oliveira, stated, "Classys' direct entry into Brazil is a turning point that goes beyond simple sales expansion to elevate service, education, and customer support systems. It is expected to deepen understanding of the needs in Brazil and South America, which can be reflected in future product development and global strategy."

A Classys representative said, "Starting with the transition to a direct operation model in Brazil in 2026, we will strengthen aggressive sales and marketing investments and localized strategies to rapidly expand our market share in Brazil. We aim to use Brazil as a bridgehead to become the overwhelmingly leading company in the entire South American medical aesthetics market."

Brazil is considered a key global market with rapidly growing demand for medical aesthetics and procedures. Classys has expanded its presence in Brazil by selling over 3,000 units of the Ultraformer series cumulatively, and the Volnewmer, launched in 2025, is also showing rapid growth.
