Editor's note

This report signals Classys' aggressive push into South America via direct operations in Brazil, a key buyer market. The sourcing of local dermatologist endorsements and the company's stated goal to dominate the region highlight a strategic shift. The regulatory question remains how local approvals and market access will evolve under this new direct management model.

Global medical aesthetics company Classys is accelerating its expansion into the South American market by holding its first large-scale customer event since transitioning to a direct management system in Brazil. Classys announced on the 26th that it held the 'Masterminds 2026' symposium for medical professionals in São Paulo, Brazil, on the 23rd. This event is the first major event held by Classys since it acquired JL Health, Brazil's largest aesthetic medical device distribution group, last March. Approximately 600 representatives from hospitals and clinics in South America attended the event, and around 30 leading dermatologists and plastic surgeons from the region, including Brazil, participated as speakers and panelists. On-site, the latest clinical results, procedural know-how, and market trends were shared, centering on Classys' flagship devices, the 'Volneumer' and 'Ultraformer' (international name for Shurink). At this event, held approximately two months after the transition to a direct management system, the actual procedure experiences and product evaluations of local medical staff were also revealed. Brazilian dermatologist Professor Fabio Real stated, “Volneumer enables more stable and uniform energy delivery through continuous water-cooling technology,” and added, “Patient satisfaction is high in terms of skin tightening and skin texture improvement.” Another Brazilian dermatologist, Rudy Oliveira, stated, “Classys’ direct entry into Brazil marks a turning point that goes beyond simple sales expansion to elevate its service, training, and customer support systems to the next level,” adding that “it will enable faster incorporation of local market needs into product development and global strategies.”

Classys plans to establish Brazil as a key hub for its South American market strategy and strengthen localized sales and marketing. "We are pursuing a more aggressive market expansion strategy following the transition to a direct management system in Brazil," a company official stated. "Our goal is to use Brazil as a bridgehead to become the dominant No. 1 company in the entire South American aesthetic medical market." Brazil is considered one of the world's largest aesthetic medical markets. Classys has been expanding its presence in the Brazilian market, recording cumulative sales of over 3,000 units of its Ultraformer series, and Volneumer, launched last year, is also continuing its rapid growth. Established in 2007, Classys is a global medical aesthetics company that currently supplies aesthetic medical devices to over 80 countries worldwide. Key products include the HIFU lifting device 'Shrink Universe', the monopolar radiofrequency device 'Volneumer', the microneedle radiofrequency device 'Quadsay', and the Nd:YAG laser device 'Repot'. Recently, the company has expanded its portfolio to include the home beauty device 'Shrink Home Lift to Glow' and is targeting the global market.
