This piece highlights a key sourcing signal: CEO Kang Sun-young’s direct quotes on export reliance, FDA clearances, and war-time sales. For buyers, the 80% export revenue share and 15-20% growth forecast signal strong market demand. A regulatory question arises from the six FDA-cleared devices, while supply-chain risk is implied by heavy exposure to Russia (25% of sales) amid geopolitical tensions.

South Korean aesthetic device manufacturer SXENBI, founded in 1999 by CEO Kang Sun-young, generates over 80% of its revenue from exports. The company produces microneedle RF-based skin treatment devices, dual plasma skin therapy devices, and non-invasive RF lifting systems.

According to Kang, SXENBI currently exports to 96 countries, with Russia and the United States accounting for 25% and 15% of sales, respectively. The company won the "US$20 Million Export Tower" award in 2023 and is approaching the US$30 Million Export Tower.

A key inflection point came in 2016 when SXENBI's skin treatment device 'Vivace' received U.S. FDA clearance for facial wrinkle improvement, pore reduction, and fine line treatment. Since then, the company has obtained FDA clearance for five additional devices: Virtue RF, PlaDuo, AF Laser, and Sunny, bringing its total FDA-cleared devices to six—a high number for a small-to-medium enterprise.

"After receiving FDA clearance, our annual sales have consistently grown by 20%," Kang said. She added that even during the war, doctors from both Russia and Ukraine regularly visit to purchase products.

Looking ahead, SXENBI is focusing on Latin America as a next-generation market. "Brazil has a strong K-beauty fever," Kang noted. "Unlike other countries where groups of 20-30 doctors visit, Brazilian doctors come to Korea in groups of 100 to show interest in SXENBI products."

The company expects 2026 revenue to grow 15-20% from last year's 41.2 billion KRW (approximately US$31 million).
