Editor's note

This exclusive distribution deal, sourced from Hironic's official announcement, signals a strategic push into the high-growth Hong Kong and Macau medical aesthetics market. For buyers, the 200-unit commitment over three years underscores strong distributor confidence in MIGLOU™'s UHF technology. Hironic Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Jin-woo) announced on May 6, 2026, that it has signed a three-year exclusive distribution agreement with Medico Group Ltd. (CEO Brian Lam), a leading medical aesthetics device distributor in Hong Kong and Macau. Under the agreement, Medico Group will sell and distribute 200 units of Hironic's next-generation non-invasive body contouring device, MIGLOU™, across Hong Kong and Macau over the three-year period. MIGLOU™ is a non-invasive body contouring device based on Hironic's proprietary 2.45 GHz Ultra High Frequency (UHF) technology. Unlike conventional Radio Frequency (RF) methods, which concentrate energy on the skin surface and upper dermis, resulting in low delivery efficiency to deep tissue, MIGLOU™ uses patent-pending FIM (Focused Intensive Microwave) smart matching technology to precisely deliver energy to targeted deep tissue. The handpiece is equipped with a gyro sensor and a contact cooling system (5–22°C) to ensure safety and patient comfort during procedures. Treatment sessions last between 7 and 20 minutes, require no anesthesia, and allow for quick return to daily activities. Three dedicated handpieces—3mm (facial lifting), 7mm (facial and body contouring), and 12mm (deep body fat)—enable customized treatment for the face and entire body.
