Huons Meditech, a medical device specialist under the Huons Group, has intensified its academic marketing efforts for the 'DermaShine' series of aesthetic medical devices, targeting both domestic and international medical professionals.
The company announced on May 11 that it participated in the 'K-Beauty Advanced Skill Training Workshop 2026' (K.A.T China 2026) and the '2026 Spring Academic Conference of the Korean Society of Filler'.
K.A.T China 2026, held from May 8 to 10 at the Eighth People's Hospital affiliated with Shenyang Medical University in Shenyang, China, is a workshop where Korean medical professionals demonstrate device procedures for Chinese clinicians. The event attracted around 120 participants, including medical staff from the Eighth People's Hospital, dermatologists and plastic surgeons from Shenyang, and government officials.
At K.A.T China 2026, Huons Meditech demonstrated procedures using the 'DermaShine Balance', a skin drug quantitative injector that has sold over 10,000 units in the Chinese market, along with 'Hutox', a botulinum toxin formulation from Huons BioPharma. The company also showcased its 'Premium 9-Pin Needle', which recently received approval from China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).
The 2026 Spring Academic Conference of the Korean Society of Filler, held from May 9 to 10 at the ST Center in Seoul, is an academic event where domestic aesthetic medical professionals share the latest treatment trends and clinical experiences using fillers, skin boosters, and energy-based devices.
At this conference, Huons Meditech focused on the 'DermaShine Duo RF', which combines precision injection with radiofrequency (RF) lifting capabilities, engaging in academic exchanges with clinicians on device operation strategies and treatment approaches applicable in real clinical settings.
Dr. Park Sang-hyuk from Laplas Clinic gave a lecture titled 'Clinical Significance of Simultaneous Application of Vacuum-assisted Microneedle RF and Skin Booster'. He introduced various approaches for using aesthetic devices like the DermaShine Duo RF and emphasized the importance of device selection and treatment design based on actual clinical experience.
Huons Meditech is pursuing expansion of its influence in global markets, including China, with a goal of strengthening global competitiveness through product development and localization strategies.
'We will continue to provide academic evidence to medical professionals and demonstrate the practical utility of our products,' said Ha Chang-woo, CEO of Huons Meditech. 'Through live lectures and clinical-focused programs, we plan to enhance device understanding and broaden engagement with clinicians.'
