On May 19, the Phu Nhuan District Police in Ho Chi Minh City appealed to individuals who had received treatments at Bee Hin Beauty Clinic to cooperate with authorities in verifying and handling the case. Earlier, on May 17, 2026, the Phu Nhuan District Police, in coordination with the Culture and Social Affairs Department and the District Health Station, conducted an unannounced inspection at Bee Hin Beauty Clinic, located at 248 Doc Lap Street, Quarter 3, Hamlet 7, Phu Nhuan District. The establishment is owned by Nguyen Thi D. During the inspection, the owner presented a business registration certificate but lacked a permit to operate medical examination and treatment services, as well as the required certification for medical practice as stipulated by regulations. Inspectors found that the facility had a room equipped for cosmetic surgery, containing tools and equipment for invasive procedures such as scalpels, syringes, injectable anesthetics, dermal fillers, disinfectants, and other medical devices. Authorities discovered numerous violations at Bee Hin Beauty Clinic during the inspection.

Furthermore, the facility had set up fan pages and Facebook accounts to advertise and promote invasive cosmetic services, including dermal filler injections, eyelid surgery, double eyelid surgery, lip augmentation, and dimple creation. These procedures require professional skills that can only be performed by qualified doctors in facilities meeting legal requirements. Nguyen Thi D. admitted to personally performing these procedures at the facility without a qualified doctor, which increases the risk of complications and could seriously affect patients' health and lives. During its operations, the facility generated hazardous medical waste, such as sharp needles and blood-soaked bandages, which pose infection risks. This waste was not collected and treated according to regulations, potentially causing environmental pollution and spreading diseases. The Phu Nhuan District Police are continuing to verify and compile case records to take legal action against the owner. The district police urge all individuals who received invasive cosmetic treatments at this establishment to voluntarily report to the Phu Nhuan District Police Station to assist in verifying and handling the case.
