Seiren has signed a sponsorship agreement with a training gym operated by LDH JAPAN, the agency behind popular group EXILE. The partnership will combine training and skincare product development. As the first step, Seiren will launch skincare kits containing cocoon-derived ingredients, targeting gym-goers who care about post-workout skin conditioning.
Partnership details
The gym, EXFIGHT in Tokyo's Shibuya Ward, offers diverse programs centered on martial arts and body shaping. Seiren will supply its skincare products to the facility, allowing users to experience them after training sessions. This collaboration aims to introduce Seiren's products to a health-conscious audience.
Product lineup
The co-developed items are based on Seiren's "Comoace" brand, which features "Pure Sericin," a cocoon-derived ingredient from the company's silk material research. The brand's products are designed to protect skin from external stressors like dryness and help maintain moisture and firmness.
First product launch
Two initial products are available: a men's refresh care kit (6,380 yen) and a moisture care kit for sensitive skin (10,780 yen). They can be purchased through Seiren's online shop and directly operated stores. The kits target gym users seeking post-exercise skincare solutions.
What buyers should watch
For overseas distributors and clinic buyers, this partnership signals a growing trend of cross-industry collaborations between textile material companies and fitness operators in Japan. Seiren's silk-derived ingredient technology may offer new opportunities for premium skincare OEM or private-label products targeting active consumers.
